When a home rental contract is signed, is it done in front of a Notary Public?

No, in fact it is legally binding upon both parties even if the tenant doesn't sign..

As soon as the tenant accepts keys, moves in and changes their address. They must pay rent to the landlord. Sometimes people get excited when they see that they failed to sign the lease agreement and fail to send it their first months rent. Only to find the landlord has no sense of humor at all and promptly evicts them..

Just a little aside for you. When a home rental contract is signed, is it done in front of a Notary Public?
No, not usually. Most of them just have you sign it and that's it.When a home rental contract is signed, is it done in front of a Notary Public?
