I'm looking to move to the Chorley area of Lancashire but I have two dogs, and i refuse to give them up, does anyone know of a rental agency that is pet friendly? I keep finding perfect properties only to notice right at the end the little no pets sign...very depressing...
Thanks for any help ;o)Help! Are there any pet friendly home rental agencies in the UK?
if its a long term let, some places will rent to you if you agree to have all the carpets professionally cleaned when you move out..
We had similar problem with four cats and a dog.. but sadly do not know any in your area, you could try Internet search? Hope you find some place for you all?Help! Are there any pet friendly home rental agencies in the UK?
the private rent sector is a pain for that. have you tried any housing associations?
there are many you could apply for but there is always a waiting list.
William Sutton trust have estates all over the uk as do Beth Johnson.
if you ask you local council they can give you a list of alternative housing associations to apply to. none of the associations have a bar on pets as they are big private renters.
it's harder to get this kind of housing but so much better and cheaper than a usual private landlord.
repairs are guaranteed, upkeep is so much better, they are run just like council houses.
just another option, it's only an application form, what do you have to lose? apart from your dogs. best of luck to you x
My house is no pets, I still keep cats here and they don't seem to mind.
I think they will overlook it most of the time as long as you don't have dog crap piling up in your garden or house.
Also, my house stated in the ad it is no pets, but in my contract it says that I can make a written request to the owner of the house to allow me to keep pets and that any reasonable request will not be turned down.
I don't know if there any in your area you will just have to keep looking but I have rented my flat for last 6 years,I live here with my doggie so it is possible if you keep your eyes peeled.
